Dispatcher  |  (317) 326-3101 Last Update: 11/12/2008 DISPATCHER Purpose of Position: This position is responsible for taking customer orders, scheduling ready mix drivers, and dispatching trucks for multiple plants. Key Responsibilities: • Take customer orders over the telephone and input orders into the computer. • Schedule drivers on a daily basis, adhering to seniority issues. • Dispatch ready mix trucks to customer job sites. • Keep and maintain all paperwork, including batch sheets, order cards, and fuel reports. • Check delivery tickets for accuracy. • Demonstrate and comminute high standard of customer service and satisfaction. • All other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: • Minimum of two (2) years of ready mix plant operations experience. • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Attention to detail. Compensation: Dependent on experience and qualifications.
