Jack Haldrup Scholarship

The Jack Haldrup Endowment was established in 1983 to honor this long time IMI associate. The endowment funds a limited number of undergraduate scholarships which are renewable annually. The Jack Haldrup Scholarship is awarded to students who are currently enrolled in the Construction Engineering and Management program at Purdue University. The scholarship awards not less than $1,000 a year to students who are seeking an undergraduate degree in the CME or CE program in the School of Civil Engineering, or the BCMT program in the College of Technology. Students must be currently enrolled in the above mentioned programs and meet the following requirements to be eligible.

  1. Have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale or higher and be a sophomore, junior or senior.
  2. Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale to remain eligible.
  3. Meet one of the following three criteria:
    1. Be the child of an Irving Materials, Inc. Group of Companies employee (this includes IMI Concrete, IMI Aggregates, E&B Paving, and Specialties Company)
    2. Be the child of an employee involved the construction industry in the below-listed counties.
    3. Be a resident of one of the below listed counties.
Note: priority is given to existing scholarship holders before new applicants are considered.
