imi, Specialties Company, and E&B Paving worked together to complete a 14.25-mile expansion and reconstruction of I-65 in Indiana located near Columbus and Franklin. This project included 27 bridges and more than 700,000 square yards of concrete.
The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) needed a construction partner with concrete and paving expertise for the expansion and reconstruction of a key section of a busy I-65 corridor. E&B Paving was selected as the preferred vendor of the $143M Design-Build Best Value Project.
imi was the concrete supplier for bridge work along the corridor and Specialties Company provided subgrade treatment and guardrail work. In addition to project management, E&B Paving handled concrete paving services, grade and drain, and asphalt paving across the site. Each division brought its unique expertise together to be a go-to resource for INDOT on this project.
