The Ellipse
BW Development was tasked with revitalizing a vacant lot near downtown Fishers, Indiana. The new class “A” building, The Ellipse, was designed to provide office space and community parking for the city near a popular walking and biking trail. imi, Specialties Company, and E&B Paving were each involved in the development of this addition to the rapidly growing downtown community in Fishers.
For this development project, imi was brought on as a partner for the four-story commercial project, providing concrete for the foundation and slab work. Both E&B Paving and Specialties Company were also involved in the project, with Specialties Company conducting the milling work and E&B Paving installing stone and asphalt pavement for both the parking lot and nearby street parking.
Despite shifting timelines that pushed work into colder weather, imi, E&B Paving, and Specialties Company were able to collaborate with the client, onsite teams, and the city to successfully complete the work on schedule.
