Stinesville Residential Decorative Concrete
imi provided the concrete for a residential project in Stinesville, Indiana, including a custom decorative elevated porch, stairs, and walkway.
Project Overview
This project included wood plank stamping colored with Pecan Tan color hardener and Charcoal release. The borders surrounding the porch were created using Old Granite Texture and Ash White Color hardener with Charcoal release. In total, 18 yards of concrete were used to complete the porch.
The steps of the stairway were bullnosed with a replicated Gilpen Falls wood plank and the landing was stamped with end grain and side grain. For the base of the steps, Old Granite Texture colored with Ash White color hardener and Charcoal release were utilized to gain the intended effect. The sidewalks were also created using Old Granite Texture skin colored Ash White and Charcoal release with Gilpen Falls wood plank placed five feet apart to disguise the control joints. To complete the project, the porch, stairways, and walkway were sealed with a high solids sealer.
